Terracotta figurine of a woman holding a fawn: The figure is clad in long chiton (poderes) and himation, while the head is covered by a low polos headdress. Similar figurines were associated either with worshippers or deities that protected and guided young girls throughout their maturation, such as Artemis, Aphrodite, Hera and Persephone. It was found in a deposit of a sanctuary at Kirra, which is believed to have been dedicated to the Apollonian Triad (Apollo-Artemis-Leto), and dates from the 5th c. BC.
