Terracotta figurine of “astragalizousa”: A young female figure is depicted garbed in long chiton (poderes) playing astragaloi, one of the most popular games among children in antiquity, made from the knucklebones of animals. The figure is shown kneeling, bending her legs. The sharp contortion of the body may allude to influences from sculpture of the same period. It dates back to the 3rd c. BC.
