Crescent-shaped pendant: inlaid with garnets, gold globules as well as intricate filigree and granulated decoration. Its exquisite technique and decoration bear witness to the prosperity, wealth and development of Amphissa during the Hellenistic period, and the high living standards of its inhabitants. It was unearthed in a child’s burial and is dated to the 2nd c. BC.
