It is terminated in a palmette and decorated with representations in the repoussé technique. From top to bottom two antithetical lions, three hoplites in combat, Medusa between Athena and Perseus, Ajax committing suicide, Heracles with the centaur Nessos and Deianeira. Mid 6th century BC
